CH-640 Fuselage Firewall sub-assembly (18 of 52)




Remove all the parts from the front of the firewall.  Turn firewall over.  Mark center line on the bottom back of 20-F-14-4 (upper horizontal firewall angle).  Place this part on the firewall and clamp in location over the holes for the standard L.  Then flip firewall over and drill through the standard L holes into the upper horizontal firewall angle.  You will also drill two more holes left and right AS 5 P40.  Draw center line on 20-F-14-5 (lower horizontal firewall angle).  Mark rivet hole locations AS 5 P30.  Be sure NOT to drill rivet holes in the engine mount hole location.  Position this part at the bottom of the firewall.  Drill rivet holes, cleco as you drill.  Once you have this done you can flip the firewall over and drill the engine mount pilot hole through this part from the pilot hole you already have on the other side.
